What is it with
women and shoes? My Philosophy, "When nothing else fits, you can
always count on shoes." I'll also add that, while my clothing may
lack vivid or bright color, my shoes will undoubtedly seal the win. Shoes
help to define the style or mood I'm in whether it be light and whimsical or
serious and no nonsense. Not to be confused with the basics. And by basics, i
mean the utilitarian, goes with everything, the perfect choice when you are
void of thought at 5am. The staple of any woman's closet. The Black
and the Brown stiletto pumps. I prefer pointy rather that rounded or baby
doll toes but they are must haves. I've been known to buy multiples if
they are on sale or like recently, if I have had difficulty finding them.
Nine West, BCBG, Chinese Laundry, Steve Madden, Bebe, and Guess are just
a few of my BFF's but BCBG saved the day. I settled on one of each Black,
Patent, and like a beige flesh patent tone. Just what I needed. Photos to follow.
Now on to more
pressing matters, a job! I had an idea that I should go stand on a corner with
a card board sign that reads, "Research Analyst for Hire" or even
better, "Will Work for Shoes."
I wonder which would be more effective.
